No’el Snyder’s Debut Into Making Music!

JetlagTV’s very own music journalist, No’el Snyder makes his music debut, providing visuals for his newest freestyle track, You See What I See.

Alcohol consumption and laughter sets the scene in a local, hole in the wall pub placed in Dearborn, Michigan. The twenty-seven-year-old emcee gracefully flows over a sped up, revamped version of Mary J Blige’s 1994 classic, My Life, courtesy of local Detroit music artist and producer, Big Papa Mood. No’el’s cadence is unmatched as he discusses his lifestyle, the women he’s encountered, and his love for great tasting liquor. These visuals reflect a young emcee on the rise. We sat down with No’el as he explained his process with the video:

“It was my first time editing my own video. I literally stayed up for 12hrs one day learning about the process and how much patience I had creating this video! S/O to Papa Mood & Hunter for helping me create my vision. This video is something lite for what’s to come. This video represents me in so many ways. It shows my personality, my love for games, drinking, and my smile which I’ll never allow to perish. It’s been a tough 3 months for me mentally, so I wanted to go out and enjoy myself. This video represents me leaving the past in the past.

I didn’t put any effects on the video. It was a struggle for me to understand it at the time, and I wanted to release this because I was sitting on it, but creating this video has taught me patience within Myself and others. More videos from me are on the way. Going to start making real music soon instead of freestyling, even tho I truly enjoy freestyling. A lot of rappers today can not freestyle. There’s always something written being rapped from an artist that suggests that it’s “off the dome”. I like to keep things original and challenging. I still have 2 more unreleased freestyles that I want to breathe life into as well! This is my first video, so bare with me. I tried and I think I did a great job for my first time editing!”
