This Canadian native is having an exciting freshmen year and he is exceeding his expectation. Only having nine games under his belt, he is already competing with the sophomores and seniors of the Big 12 Conference for the best 3-point FG PCT. Current standing at number two, under TCU’s Desmond Bane, in the conference with .498%.
The young 19-year-old took his own route to get where he is today. Normally, a young college bound athlete goes from high school straight to college ball. Instead, Wigginton went from high school (Oak Hill Academy) to Canada Basketball, where he helped his country to Gold medal at FIBA U19 World Cup in Cairo, Egypt in 2017.
Here’s his highlights from the Iowa game, which he scored 24 points
