Jay-Z Turns Down An Offer To Perform at the 2018 Super Bowl

In support of Colin Kaepernick, Jay-Z has declined an opportunity to perform during the 2018 Super Bowl halftime show.

Hov shouted out Kaepernick during his performance of ‘Story of O.J’ in New York City. A week later, the NFL reached out to Jay-Z and offered him an opportunity to perform at the next Super Bowl halftime show, but Jay isn’t a fan of the opportunity.

Jay-Z arguably has had the biggest album release of the year. In his 4:44 album, Hov speaks a lot on black wealth and support for his fellow people which could indicate why he has decided to refuse the offer.

More on this story will be available as it unfolds.
