“Way Of Life” EP Music Review

This EP set the tone for that raw, uncut Detroit Sound. Music artist and co-founder of Goodboyz Clothing, Goodboy Monte, provides us listeners with yet another outstanding project after his 2016 “Demo Tape” release. Bandgang Masoe, came with the heat on this 2017 project, after his February EP, “Loyalty Is Love”. Monte and Masoe collaborated on five distinctive tracks, giving us listeners a considerable amount of content on their new EP, “Way of Life”. With Production done by Monte and Nelson Cartier and samples from classic tracks from Juvenile and The Hot Boyz, both music artist emit a splendid delivery with a high tempo flow, discussing the money, women, and loyalty in the city of Detroit. Tracks like “Boss Yo Life Up” which was sampled from C-Murder’s classic track “Down for My Niggaz” and “Split The Pros” allows this EP, “Way Of Life”, to convey the perfect amount of motivation for the city of Detroit. Monte and Masoe’s musical chemistry was exceptional on this project, matching bar for bar.

“Way Of Life” is the anthem for every young black male in the city trying to come up and better themselves for a broader future, because on this EP, it’s all about the hustle. Check out Monte and Bandgang Masoe’s Debut joint EP, “Way Of Life” on all digital streaming services!
