OJ Simpson Has Been Granted Parole, and Could Be Released In October

After a hearing, July 20th, OJ Simpson has been granted parole and could be released from prison as soon as October 1, 2017.

OJ Simpson served nine years of a 33 year sentence after being found guilty of 12 charges, including kidnapping and assault with a deadly weapon while trying to steal sports memorobilia.

OJ’s chargers were brought up after an incident in 2007 at a Las Vegas hotel. Simpson was seen taking memorobilia that OJ says was stolen from him.

Simpson has won parole previously in 2013 for two counts of armed robbery and kidnapping, along with burglary with a firearm.

OJ Simpson was described to be a “model inmate” while doing his time in prison and plans on living a “quiet life” if he is released in October.
