2017 seems to be the year of artists cancelling shows, and Young Money’s CEO Lil Wayne, was just added to that list.
Friday night, fans came out in abundance to support their favorite rapper at the Target Center in Minneapolis, MN. Only problem is, he was nowhere to be found. The only performances took place were three from the opening acts, Wayne’s performance itself never happened. This is not the first time Wayne was a no-show for fans in Minnesota. This show was actually rescheduled from the concert he missed back in February of 2015.
Wayne claimed he had mechanical issues with his private plane — nothing more, nothing less. The concert’s promoter announced that following week, the show will not be rescheduled and all fans will be receiving a refund. Fans took to twitter that night to express how they felt about the whole ordeal.
Target Center was lit – until they announced Lil' Wayne is a no show – saw some great artist tonight thou – thank u Winter Marie

You could only imagine how frustrated those fans are right now. Those who bought tickets via credit cards must email firstname.lastname@example.org with their order number. Those who did with cash can head down to Target Center’s box office and will be rightfully served.
