Rae Sremmurd are a hip-hop duo from Tupelo, Mississippi, who are also blood brothers. They got their name from their label, which is a backwards spelling of “EarDrummers”. How dope is that? Last year they took over the world with their first number one single on the US Billboard Hot 100 titled, “Black Beatles.” But this year, they’re embarking on a new journey.
On April 1st, they released a tweet stating:

Now, even though it was posted on what some might like to acknowledge as “April Fools Day,” I don’t think that was intended for this particular instance. The group performed at Ohio State University on March 31, and decided to tease fans with brand new music from their upcoming album. One of the students were able to capture the moment on camera.

With such a successful year in music they’ve had in 2016, I don’t think they’ll be able to top it this time around. We’ll just have to wait and see what Sremmlife 3 has in-store for us all.
