Chance and Chicago Bulls Team-Up to Donate $1 Million to Chicago Schools

3x Grammy award winner Chance The Rapper, has been giving back to his community a lot lately since his career has reached new heights. Chance is no stranger to making headlines for donating money to Chicago public schools. Chance’s philanthropy has been praised by the likes of the Seattle Seahawk’s Michael Bennett, fellow Chicago native Derrick Rose, and FLOTUS Michelle Obama. Because the well-being of children are so important, it’s only right Chance got assisted from one of the best teams in the league and in his city, The Chicago Bulls.

The Bulls announced on their twitter page yesterday about their collaboration with Chance, in honor of kids in the Chicago area. Please view the tweet attached below.

Chance also announced during the speaking engagement, he will be creating an arts and literature fund where he will be sponsoring $10,000 to 12 selected schools. Being a father, he has a personal connection and understanding for kids as he does for his own. “As a parent, and a proud CPS graduate, I’m committed to helping Chicago’s children have quality learning experiences and quality in the learning space,” said Chance. 

After witnessing how dedicated Chance is to helping children in Chicago, it was a no-brainer for Bulls to get involved. This is a class act and will be appreciated by every kid and parent in school districts of Chicago. No matter how successful Chance gets, he make sure he never forget the importance of life.
