The Coastal Carolina cheerleaders have found themselves in a sticky situation. Looks like there won’t be any national cheerleading competition taking place this month in Daytona Beach.
CCU’s girls have been accused of alleged prostitution, buying alcohol for minors, and paying others to do their homework. An anonymous cheerleader mailed a letter to CCU president Dave DeCenzo, informing him of the alleged activities.
The only thing Vice President of University Communications, would confirm was the suspension. The ongoing investigation would determine the fate of the cheerleaders.
As of right now the CCU cheerleaders have been removed from the schools site and their section redirects to the spirit teams page.
