Kendrick Lamar releases “The Heart Part 4”

Gearing up to release his fourth studio album, Kendrick Lamar has blessed the world with his single entitled “The Heart Part 4”. K-Dot has never been one to mince words, so no one was safe this time around.

Right at the first beat switch, Kendrick came straight for Big Sean. The two have had their differences since collaborating on a controversial track titled ‘Control’. Many people felt that Kendrick out-rapped Sean on his own song, which of course Sean disagrees. Both emcees can hold their own in the booth, so reigniting this flame can on make for some great music to come. In reference to Big Seans’ second studio album,

“Hoe, Jay Z hall of fam, sit your punk a** down”

Kendrick later goes on to discuss President Trump’s relationship with Russia. Although Trump claims that he has no ties to Russia, there’s evidence that says otherwise. Trump is currently under investigation of the FBI. If found guilty, he may be impeached.  Although Trump may be innocent, Kendrick certainly has his own conclusion.

“Donald Trump is a chump, know how we feel, punk / Tell ’em that God comin’ / And Russia need a replay button, y’all up to something”

Last but definitely not least, shots were fired at Drake. Considering the fact that Drake is currently coming off of a rap beef win, many artist would avoid him all together. However, Kendrick relentlessly came for Drake, reworking Drake’s own ‘Pound Cake’ lyrics to make his point.

“Tables turn, lesson learned, my best look / You jumped sides on me, now you ’bout to meet Westbrook”

Be sure to check out the song below and tell us what you think. Kendrick hinted that we can expect to hear more from him on April 7th.
