Culture is the sophomore album by the dynamic trap trio “straight out north Atlanta”. Originally titled “No Label 3” and set to drop in October of 2016 the album went through an overhaul. With 3 singles and one being compared to the 2015 mega hit by fellow atlanta rapper Future “March Madness”.
The project is typical Migos fashion with that Atlanta trap bounce and strip club anthems that fuel the nightlife in any American town. This time around the trio knew that they had to put out a body of work in order to top the success of their legendary mixtapes and their lackluster first album. From track 1 to track 13 your enthralled by amazing beat selection and that legendary flow that changed the game forever. With DJ Khaled narrating the intro and then 3 hit singles back to back to back, then you have the non stop bounce. You can see that these fellas want to cement themselves in hip hop history. Stand out records on this album include are “What’s The Price” that gives you a sweet serenade from Quavo and solid verses from all 3 members, the new strip club anthem/ twerk hit “All Ass” and the La Flame laced “Kelly Price” which is a strong indicator that he assisted on more from this album. This is the most solid Migos project in my opinion and is finally something they are proud of. They show another side of themselves and are fighting to be hailed as a top 5 group contender in hip hop.
