The 24 year old emcee from Pittsburgh gives us 10 love filled soulful tracks with an amazing production team, features and lovely vocals. Mac Miller’s approach was different from what I was expecting. “The Divine Feminine”, focuses on increments of romance with understanding the love of a woman within the universe. Unlike his past work, Miller went with a full direct approach to love and unraveling the trials we go through locating our soulmate. So no Delusional Thomas, “The Divine Feminine” is a cozy and heart warming Album. Tracks such as “My Favorite Part” ft Ariana Grande and “We” ft. CeeLo Green, reminded us listeners of the song “ROS” off Mac Miller’s 2015 Album “G0:0D AM” which was a little foreshadowing for me. The track “Congratulations” ft. Bilal stood out tremendously to my ears simply because Mac Miller use a sample from J. Cole’s “Interlude” off J. Coles first studio album “The Sideline Story”. All in all Mac Miller does not disappoint! Check out Mac Miller’s “The Divine Feminine” on Apple Music!
