The NCAA Tournament is finally among us. The most unpredictable tournament in sports but the JetlagTv staff attempted to predict the tournament nonetheless. Four staff members below give their choice to win it all and why.
Chris: Kansas Jayhawks
I think Kansas will win it all due to the team’s experience. The Jayhawks have veteran leadership from Wayne Selden Jr. and Perry Ellis that will take them far in the tournament. The Kansas Jayhawks also have a complete team both offensively and defensively.
Korri: North Carolina Tar Heels
North Carolina will take the National Championship this year because for the obvious fact that it is overdue for the Tar Heels. The Heels are the most experienced team in the tournamant behind Marcus Paige, Brice Johnson, and Kennedy Meeks. The Tar Heels are riding their momentum after defeating Virginia for the ACC Championship, finally playing together as a family, and also are hungry to get back ahead of Duke after they took the crown last year.
Caleb: Kansas Jayhawks
The Kansas Jayhawks are honestly just too deep. They are lead by vets Wayne Selden Jr. and Perry Ellis. Behind their leadership you also have great players such as Devonte Graham and Frank Mason who will also be major key’s to the Jayhawk’s run. Get ready for a dominant Kansas run to Coach Bill Self’s second National Championship.
Larento: Oklahoma Sooners
I am a die hard North Carolina Tar Heels fan but I wanted to stray away from being biased. Aside from UNC, I believe the Sooners are the team that should truly scare other teams in the NCAA Tournament. Lead by Buddy Hield, who could make a case for the best player in college basketball, along with being a very balanced team could be the recipe the Sooners need to be a National Championship team. The Sooners have strong positives and minimal negatives in their game.
